Join us for a peaceful river walk and try your luck spotting one of Australia's most adorable and mysterious creatures, the platypus!

These shy swimmers are tricky to find, but that's part of the fun. We'll take you to a spot along the South Pine River where platypuses are known to swim. If you're quiet and patient, you might catch a glimpse of one gliding by!

You'll learn all about these unique little animals, how they build burrows, what they eat, and why clean water is so important for their survival.

As we stroll, we'll also point out local birds, plants, and bugs that call the beautiful South Pine River home. It's a great way to slow down, experience nature, and learn how we can all help protect our waterways.

Whether you're a nature lover or love cute animals, this free guided event is a feel-good way to start your day.
