Due to flooding and road closures, waste collection services are being impacted. Where safe to do so, please leave your bin out for collection and it will be serviced as soon as practical. We ask that affected residents do not lodge missed bin services during this time. Further updates will be advised.
Multicultural Queensland Month is held in August each year. It aims to promote inclusion and celebrates diversity.
Moreton Bay has many cultures and languages. Approximately one in five residents are born overseas, and more than a third of residents have a parent born overseas.
Celebrate Multicultural Queensland Month by attending the many events held throughout Moreton Bay.
Other activities that celebrate our cultural diversity are available throughout the year. For more information, visit our local Libraries, Galleries and Museums, or search Council’s What’s On calendar.
