Accessible beaches

City of Moreton Bay’s coastline hosts many beautiful beaches, which are enjoyed by locals and visitors all year.

For people with limited mobility, a day at the beach may be out of reach. Even people pushing prams or beach carts can have trouble getting to and from the beach.

Everyone has the right to access and enjoy our beaches.

Council's Accessible Beaches initiative gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy a day in the sun, sand and surf.

The initiative is currently being delivered at two patrolled beaches, at Woorim Beach on Bribie Island and Suttons Beach on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
