National Tree Day 2025 at Sir Dapper Drive Park has been cancelled due to wet conditions on site. The Sir Dapper Drive Park event has been tentatively postponed to 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 31 August 2025.

Looking for a fun and hands-on way to give back to nature and connect with your community? Join us for a fun day out as we celebrate Planet Ark's National Tree Day! 

We're inviting everyone to come along and help us plant native trees and shrubs in support of a greener, healthier future.

It's a great chance to get outdoors, roll up your sleeves, and make a real difference to your local environment. You'll also get to meet your local Environment Officer and chat with others who care about nature just as much as you do.

All the tools and equipment will be ready and waiting for you on the day. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for nature. To keep your energy up, a delicious sausage sizzle will be available for all volunteers.

Don't forget to dress sun-safe with a hat, sunscreen, enclosed shoes, and comfortable clothes. Be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Whether you're a green thumb or trying tree planting for the first time, everyone is welcome. Come grow something great with us!
