Our city has many community groups that offer fun activities for people with disabilities. These activities help people join in, make friends, stay active, and feel healthy. Being active is good for both your body and your mind.

ARTEL - CPL Choice PassionLife

Artel is a professional art studio run by CPL – Choice, Passion, Life. It gives artists with disabilities a safe and supportive place to create art.

Artists can work with paint, ink, print, and textiles. Artel supports people with diverse skills and communication styles so they can share their creativity.

Earthly Neurodivergent

Earthy Neurodivergent is a nature-based program designed for neurodivergent people.

They believe in the power of connection with nature and providing a safe and supportive space. By doing this, young people can explore, discover, and thrive in our beautiful natural world.

Their approach centres on fostering confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging. This is done through hands-on activities, group experiences, and organic engagement with our environment.

Healthy and ActiveMoreton

Healthy and Active Moreton offers free or low-cost activities. These include sport, fitness, recreation, and wellness classes.

Activities suit people of all ages and abilities. Inclusive options include walking groups, meditation, wheelchair dancing, Pilates, and chair yoga.

Holt Bolt

The Holt Bolt Movement supports people across Queensland. Participants can take part in programs at centres in Clontarf and Caboolture.

Services include school-based sports programs, strength and movement classes, allied health, and education and employment support.

Rainbow yoga in Caboolture

These Rainbow yoga classes are inclusive and welcoming. They support beginners through to intermediate students.

  • Classes run on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM for 11 weeks.
  • Term pass: $184 (11 weeks)

Trevena Glen Farm

Trevena Glen Farm offers inclusive and accessible farm experiences. Activities include animal visits, tractor rides, train rides, guided tours, and picnics.

The farm is an award‑winning and registered NDIS provider.

Tribe Social Belonging started in 2018 and now supports thousands of people across Queensland. It helps people who feel lonely or excluded find connection and community.

Beachmere Community Garden

The Beachmere Community Garden is a friendly and accessible space, including a sensory garden for everyone to enjoy.

The garden also teaches people how to grow healthy and ethical food at home, even in small spaces.

City of Moreton Bay Galleries and Museums

Enjoy a changing program of exhibitions, events, and workshops throughout the year.

This includes the Imaginarium, a fun play space for children. Here, children can take part in hands-on activities and crafts. They can create, learn, and explore.

City of Moreton Bay Libraries

Moreton Bay Libraries are places to discover, learn, play, and imagine. They offer books, programs, and spaces that help people connect with each other.

There are many events held across libraries in the City of Moreton Bay.

Crockatt Park

Crockatt Park is a large park along the Woody Point foreshore with views over Bramble Bay.

The park has many facilities for different activities. There is a playground with a flying fox and climbing frames for all ages.

The park also has an inclusive swing called the We‑Go‑Swing. This wheelchair-accessible swing allows people to swing side by side. It is the first of its kind in Queensland.

Leslie Patrick Park

Leslie Patrick Park is also known as the Hills District All Abilities Playground. It's fully fenced with several play areas designed so everyone can enjoy it.
