Environment centres

Visit City of Moreton Bay's environment centres to learn about local flora and fauna. Entry is free, with workshops, educational displays, and nature trails to explore.

Take the time to discover the environment centre grounds. Open during the day, use the picnic and barbecue facilities for lunch or try the playgrounds for all-abilities.

Group visits and education tour bookings

Looking for a fun group activity? Our environment centres are the perfect way to enjoy a shared experience. Come along and connect with nature while learning about our unique ecosystems together.

For groups visiting our centres, we encourage you to submit an Excursion or group tour request. This allows you to stay informed with any updates that may affect your visit.

Schools and small groups can also book an educational tour led by our environment centres team. For more information, visit Environment centre school excursions and group tours.

Volunteer at the centres

Get involved and volunteer at Council's environment centres. You could assist with basic maintenance duties of the grounds or welcome visitors into the centres.

Volunteering with our centres is a great way to learn about Moreton Bay's diverse ecosystems. You will also learn new skills and meet people with a similar interest.
