Situated on an 18-hectare reserve, the Caboolture Region Environment Education Centre supports environmental education and recreation for the community. Backing onto the Burpengary River, CREEC offers nature walk trails, a community nursery, all abilities playground and café.
Use the walking track map(PDF, 735KB) and take a self-guided walk through endangered rainforest and acacia woodland habitats.
With activities for all ages, the CREEC auditorium provides interactive and educational displays focused on sustainability, environmental awareness as well as local fauna and flora. The centre is free to enter and you can check out our nocturnal room and native bee hive.
Note: CREEC grounds are not bookable spaces and dogs are not allowed on site (service dogs excepted).
The onsite cafe is operated by Morayfield & District Lions Club and opens Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (subject to change).
The community nursery will be closed to the public from Friday, 9 December 2022.
To redeem native plant vouchers, see CREEC Environment Centre (during opening hours).
