How it works

Recycle Mate is easy to use! Simply follow the steps below:

1. Search for an item: Type an item name into the app to get disposal advice specific to your area.
2. Get local recycling advice: Enter your home address in the app to receive information tailored to your area. Recycle Mate uses your location to show which bin an item belongs in or where you can take it for recycling.
3. Reduce contamination: Knowing what belongs in your recycling bin helps keep the wrong items out and improves recycling.
