Property owners in Bribie Gardens Estate with canal frontage must have a pontoon trustee lease if they:
- already have a pontoon adjoining their property
- wish to construct a pontoon.
The lease is over, Trustee Reserve R2669, as per State Government regulations. Leases are granted for 30 years.
Selling a property with a pontoon lease
If you sell a property with an existing pontoon trustee lease, you must transfer the lease to the new owner.
If the lease has expired and the property is subject to a signed REIQ Sale Contract, contact Council’s Property Services team with the settlement date to receive the right advice.
