Sandbags must not be placed into your general waste bin unless they are empty. The sand can be used as topsoil on lawns and gardens. Do not allow sand to wash into stormwater drains.

To assist in post Tropical Cyclone Alfred clean up, all Council waste facilities are open for extended periods, 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.Waste collection services have resumed as normal.
