City of Moreton Bay’s Suttons Beach redevelopment has reached another milestone, with the formal hospitality tender now open.

Interested parties are invited to submit responses detailing their plans for the site.

The vision for the soon-to-be built Pavilion features a dynamic mix of food and beverage concepts across both the ground floor and level one, offering a range of experiences and service styles.

With detailed design now complete and construction set to begin in 2026, the Suttons Beach Pavilion is expected to open in late 2027.

Mayor Peter Flannery said this is an exciting time as we start to see the vision for Suttons Beach Pavilion come to life.

“The opportunity to create a vibrant and lasting hospitality scene is too good to be missed, especially at such a stunning beachfront location.

“Having a mix of food and beverage options will give the beach park something for everyone and create a welcoming environment for our community and visitors.”

Councillor Karl Winchester (Div 6) said he’s keen to see the hospitality plans being submitted.

“This is a unique destination opportunity, in a sought-after location and I’m really excited to see what the market has to offer.

“It’s great to be at this point in the process as we get even closer to the new Pavilion opening."

This project is funded by City of Moreton Bay and the SEQ City Deal Liveability Fund. A partnership between the Australian and Queensland Governments, and the Council of Mayors (South East Queensland).
