About the performer
The O’Brien Music Academy specialises in education and informal musical performances of traditional Irish music and classic country songs. Performing with a baritone ukulele and vocals, with a touch of Irish whistle, the Academy will create warm, inviting atmospheres perfect for mood-setting and background vibes in accessible, open spaces.
Founder and lead teacher of the Academy, Clare, has been playing music for 20 years and has been teaching for over a decade. She has a classical background in flute and piano, while her Irish learning has been directly from Irish musicians, complemented by her experience across various concert bands and as a vocalist in performance choirs, bringing a wealth of musical expertise.
