Music pop-up at Bribie Island Seaside Museum

Next date: Saturday, 20 June 2026 | 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM

Group portrait of people wearing matching black T‑shirts, arranged in seated and standing rows, set against a colourful abstract background with floating kazoos above them.

Head down to the Bribie Island Seaside Museum to experience an exciting music pop-up show. With global sounds and plenty of ways to get hands-on, this pop-up brings music to life in a fun and creative way. You can listen or join in and be part of something special.

Enjoy live performances from talented musicians using a kazoo, their voice, and one of the people's instruments.

Northside Soul Sisters will kick off the event with a live performance guaranteed to get the crowd buzzing. In the second half, you'll be invited to sing along to all your classic favourites.

BASOKI will deliver an acoustic performance that weaves funk, rock and heartfelt lyricism. He takes listeners on a journey through the triumphs and challenges of life.

The pop-up also includes a kazoo workshop with Danslands. He will teach you a simple medley of Bee Gees songs. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own kazoo. There will be several free kazoos available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Put your newfound skills into practise and join us on 21 June for a public flash mob. Performing with your kazoo at Bee Gees way, this high‑energy event will turn the laneway into a vibrant pop‑up stage.
