April is Frog Month, and we're celebrating in the best way possible, with the Queensland Frog Society!

We've invited the Queensland Frog Society to CREEC to deliver a guided walk and talk around our frog ponds and wetlands.

CREEC is home to many frog species, including the endangered Giant barred frog. Some are loud and easily spotted, others are shy, and very good at hiding. During the walk, you will learn about frog habits and their habitats, and why wetlands are so important for their survival. With a bit of luck, we may hear frogs calling or even spot a few along the way.

The Queensland Frog Society will share fun facts about local frogs and share simple ways to make your own backyard more frog friendly. Small changes can make a big difference. This includes providing water, planting plants, and creating safe spaces for frogs to rest.

This is a relaxed and engaging experience for nature lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors.

Enjoy a gentle walk, learn something new, and see CREEC from a fresh perspective as we celebrate Frog Month.
