School holiday fun at CREEC

Cut the screen time and head to CREEC these school holidays! We offer a variety of free, hands-on activities and nature-themed arts and crafts for kids to enjoy every day.

During your visit, little ones can enjoy our all-abilities playground, and curious minds can explore the interactive sensory garden. Bring your picnic basket or cook up a barbecue for a relaxed family lunch under the trees.

You can also take a peaceful bush walk through our old riparian rainforest. Find the Endeavour Bend Lookout and sit and listen to the birds. Enjoy a day of connecting with nature.

CREEC is open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday, and you can explore the grounds 7 days a week during daylight hours.

• Tuesday 23 September: Make a fairy wand, available during centre hours
• Wednesday 24 September: Explore CREEC with Agents of Discovery
• Thursday 25 September: Come bug out in the Centre, available during centre hours
• Friday 26 September: Family friendly guided walk at 10:00 AM
• Tuesday 30 September: Zero waste day with waste education and GOGO the mascot, available during centre hours
• Wednesday 1 October: Nature Craft, available during centre hours
• Thursday 2 October: A guided walk as part of our bat-tastic festival
• Friday 3 October: Self-guided scavenger hunt, available during centre hours
• Saturday 4 October: Wildlife unleashed for threatened species day.
