World Wetlands Day at Osprey House

Join us at Osprey House and celebrate World Wetlands Day. A day aimed at raising awareness of the importance of wetlands.

Moreton Bay is identified as a Ramsar Site. These are wetland sites designated by the Ramsar Convention as sites of international importance. It is up to us to keep our regional wetlands, mangroves and salt marshes healthy.

We will have many free wetland-themed craft activities to enjoy. Visitors can also experience a variety of aquatic life up close with displays of living sea creatures and artefacts provided by Ocean Life Education.
