School holiday fun at Osprey House

Looking for ways to entertain the kids these school holidays? Join us at Osprey House for free hands-on activities and nature-themed arts and crafts for kids to enjoy every day.

While you're here, check out the Osprey House grounds. Take a stroll along our boardwalk through the mangroves and across the lagoon.

You can also borrow a pair of binoculars to help you spot some wildlife. You might be lucky enough to spot a black-necked stork! You may see whistling kites, white bellied sea eagles, spoonbills and a large range of wader birds. 

Osprey House is open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday. You can visit the grounds 7 days a week during daylight hours.

• Saturday 27 September: Create an ‘Essential Environment’ diorama, available during centre hours
• Sunday 28 September: World Rivers Day
• Tuesday 30 September: Nature detective treasure hunt, available during centre hours
• Thursday 2 October: Waterbird craft, available during centre hours
• Friday 3 October: Insect craft, available during centre hours
• Saturday 4 October: Create an ‘Essential Environment’ diorama, available during centre hours
• Sunday 5 October: Guided nature walk 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
