Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
Central Lakes Park has something for everyone. It's the perfect spot for a walk, a family day at the park, or practising your 3-point shot on the basketball court.
There is plenty of room for family gatherings with large grass areas and picnic spots. There are several sheltered barbecue areas to sit and cook while the kids run and play. The playground will keep the little ones occupied for hours while the older kids let loose on the basketball court.
On the Summerfields Drive side of the park, dogs will love the fully fenced off-leash area. Enjoy a game of fetch or let them run, exercise, and socialise leash-free with other dogs.
The lakes are a great place for locals to get active with pathways and exercise equipment. On Saturday mornings, join the weekly 5-kilometre community event, Central Lakes Park Run. Run, jog, or walk around the lake and get involved.
