Sandbags must not be placed into your general waste bin unless they are empty. The sand can be used as topsoil on lawns and gardens. Do not allow sand to wash into stormwater drains.

This picturesque park on the point of Bribie Island has beautifully maintained gardens. Take a seat and take in the gentle sea breeze beneath one of the shady trees. With quick beach access, this is sure to be a fun spot to cool down for families.
Take cover underneath the shelter and hydrate yourself from the water fountain. Be sure to pack food, and extra water and wear adequate sun protection.
Parking is available off Marina Boulevard and Sylvan Beach Esplanade.
This park has a wedding area available for booking. It's a medium-sized grassed area with views of Pumicestone Passage and the Glasshouse Mountains. There is a small gazebo for intimate weddings and entry by boat onto the beach is possible depending on the tide. The wedding area is 15 metres by 15 metres.
