City of Moreton Bay has taken immediate steps in response to the national recall of certain coloured sand products. Designated Council waste facilities are managing the disposal of the recalled sand products.

Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
The Active Transport Strategy guides the planning, investment and the operation of the components that make up the active transport network. The strategy is supported by a background paper that includes an assessment of the existing and future active transport networks against desired standards to identify future infrastructure needs.
