Donation in lieu of rates and charges

Council will provide a donation to eligible community organisations to assist with the cost of certain rates and charges levied by Council and Unitywater. Refer to the Donations in lieu of Rates and Charges levied by Council and Unitywater Policy(PDF, 196KB) for full eligibility criteria. 

An official letter detailing the decision will be forwarded after assessment. 

Making an application

Step 1.Gather required information 

  • Electronic copy of audited financial statements for the previous 2 years
  • Electronic copy of income and expenditure information related to the operations at the subject property

Step 2.Submit an application

  • Sign in to Moreton Bay Online Services (Instructions)
  • Go to 'Enquiries'
  • Find 'Community - Council Support of Community Groups' and click 'Start' to begin the process.
