John W Mott Reserve

John W Mott Reserve in Kallangur is a large green space with an array of facilities, which offers a relaxing day in nature.

There are a few ways to enter the park, making it easy to include in your walking or running route. The reserve runs alongside Fresh Water Creek, stop to enjoy the scenery at one of several viewing spots.

Your dog can join you too, make sure to keep them on a lead through the park. There's also a dog waste bag station at the Duffield Road entry and many bins in the park to dispose of rubbish.

If you enter the park from Allison Drive West, you'll have immediate access to the covered play equipment. There's a slide, a climbing fortress and a swing set for little ones to explore. Parents and caregivers can supervise from the low stone wall that circles the playground.

Opposite the playground is a bodyweight exercise area. There's a pull-up machine, an elliptical machine, a shoulder press machine and more to check out. If you want to get your fitness fix, you're spoilt for choice.

There's also a sheltered picnic table where you can unpack for lunch or rest after a walk through the park.
