City of Moreton Bay has taken immediate steps in response to the national recall of certain coloured sand products. Designated Council waste facilities are managing the disposal of the recalled sand products.

Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
To set out Council’s position in relation to Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) schemes and a process for determining how it responds to specific instances where the installation or removal of traffic calming devices may be required.
