City of Moreton Bay has taken immediate steps in response to the national recall of certain coloured sand products. Designated Council waste facilities are managing the disposal of the recalled sand products.

Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.

Near Enough (Is Good Enough) III, a new solo exhibition by award-winning Queensland artist Aaron Butt. This exhibition continues Butt’s critically reflective practice inspired by Frank Hurley’s photographs of the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1914–17).
