Council facilities and waste services over the holiday season

Council’s administration and customer service centres will close from 12:00 PM on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Normal business hours will resume from 8:30 AM on Monday 5 January 2026.
Council’s call centre will continue to operate, including responding to emergency matters on (07) 3205 05551300 477 161.
Household waste collection will continue as normal, while selected Council venues, including libraries, galleries, museums, swimming pools and waste facilities will also operate during the closure.
