Find a waste and recycling facility

Council operates nine transfer stations, two treasure markets and three major waste facilities with onsite landfills. These waste facilities help manage the resource recovery, recycling and waste disposal needs of the region.

Prior to your visit:

Locations

Major waste facilities

Major waste facilities accept residential, commercial and limited industrial waste and recoverable materials. 

Facilities include:

• Bunya waste management facility
• Caboolture waste management facility
• Dakabin waste management facility
• Redcliffe transfer station.

Minor waste facilities

Minor waste facilities are for local residential waste. Limited commercial waste is accepted at Woodford and Ningi. Load limits of 1.5 cubic metres apply to transfer stations.
