Council’s two treasure markets located at the Caboolture and Dakabin waste facilities sell second hand items that are donated or rescued from landfill disposal. The public can shop for a bargain or donate their unwanted but useful items.
Items for sale include:
- household furniture, cooking and serving ware
- building and renovation items, including timber, doors, windows and outdoor materials
- books, music and collectables
- bicycle parts
- select clothing.
Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Closed Good Friday, Anzac Day and Christmas Day.
Donating to treasure markets
Residents can donate quality, reusable household items at Council’s waste facilities. Ensure your donation is clean and in good condition.
Check with the waste facility staff if they can resell some of your items as restrictions apply to certain items including electrical appliances.
Treasure market workshops
Try your hand at DIY with free monthly workshops held at Council’s treasure markets. Be inspired and learn how to re-purpose unwanted items into a useful and artistic piece for your home, office or backyard.
