When are my bins collected?

Council provides a weekly general waste and a fortnightly recycling and organic waste collection service to properties within the defined waste collection area.

Kerbside bin collections occur anytime between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the day of service. As part of the kerbside bin collection service, residents must: 

  • place bins on the kerb for collection before 6:00 AM on their collection day
  • leave a gap of at least one metre between bins
  • return bins to their property as soon as practical after collection. Fines may apply if you do not have an acceptable reason for not returning your bins to your property.
  • keep bins clean, tidy and free of graffiti
  • report missed, damaged or stolen bins for servicing, repair or replacement.

Damaged, stolen or missed wheelie bins

If your bin is damaged, stolen, or missed during collection, you can request a repair, replacement, or report the missed service to Council. For more information or to report an issue, visit Damaged, stolen or missed bins.

  • This search only applies to regular domestic "wheelie" bin collection. For information on properties with commercial, additional or bulk bin services, contact Council.
