When are my bins collected?
Council provides a weekly general waste and a fortnightly recycling and organic waste collection service to properties within the defined waste collection area.
Kerbside bin collections occur anytime between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the day of service. As part of the kerbside bin collection service, residents must:
- place bins on the kerb for collection before 6:00 AM on their collection day
- leave a gap of at least one metre between bins
- return bins to their property as soon as practical after collection. Fines may apply if you do not have an acceptable reason for not returning your bins to your property.
- keep bins clean, tidy and free of graffiti
- report missed, damaged or stolen bins for servicing, repair or replacement.
Check your bin collection day by entering your street address:
Damaged, stolen or missed wheelie bins
If your bin is damaged, stolen, or missed during collection, you can request a repair, replacement, or report the missed service to Council. For more information or to report an issue, visit Damaged, stolen or missed bins.
Assisted kerbside collection service
Council provides an assisted kerbside collection service. For more information, refer to Services for seniors and people with disability.
