Creative workshop with artist YEAHYEAHCHLOE (Chloe Bennett)

Next date: Tuesday, 20 January 2026 | 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

A women wearing glasses is holdng an ink pot and is lining an image that is pink razors on a blue background.

YEAHYEAHCHLOE (Chloe Bennett) is being commissioned to create a new artwork for the City of Moreton Bay Outdoor Gallery at Caboolture Town Square.

As part of this project, Chloe will lead an engaging and playful workshop called ‘Little Books, Big Ideas’.

Chloe will guide participants to create their own mini zine and fill it with drawings of everyday objects.

Explore how the objects that surround us hold meaning and memory. How they also connect us to time, place, and people.

Through a series of drawing prompts, you’ll experiment with ways to observe, interpret, and reimagine things that are familiar.

These prompts are designed to spark new ideas and offer practical tools for getting started. They’re especially useful when you’re feeling a creative block or just need a starting point.

This workshop provides a focused space to slow down, notice the everyday, and rediscover joy in making.

This workshop is suitable for all ages and skill levels.

About the facilitator

YEAHYEAHCHLOE is a multidisciplinary Korean-Australian artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane).

Her practice explores how everyday objects carry memory, connection and identity. Her art offers playful entry points into deeper reflections on belonging and shared experience.

YEAHYEAHCHLOE draws her influence from nostalgic ‘90s cartoons. She uses clean lines and bold colours across painting, sculpture, installation, and digital media. Her works often explore the line between the digital and physical.

She has collaborated with major brands like Gucci, Google, and Nike. Her works have also been exhibited extensively across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the USA.
