Did you know Australia is home to more than 1,600 native bee species? These tiny creatures play a huge role in keeping our plants and food growing strong. Join us at Kumbartcho Sanctuary for a buzzing workshop with Tim from Sugarbag Bees as part of Pollinators Month!

This fun and educational session is perfect for anyone curious about the secret lives of bees. Tim will share fascinating facts about native species and the vital part they play in pollination. You’ll learn about the difference between stingless and solitary bees and how each type helps keep our environment healthy.

Get an up-close look at the amazing world inside an observation hive and watch the bees hard at work. You might even get to taste some delicious native honey!

This hands-on workshop is a great chance to ask questions and learn how you can help support native bees in your own backyard. Come along, connect with nature, and leave with a new appreciation for these busy, vital pollinators.

Don’t miss out, it’s a hive of activity you’ll definitely want to be part of!
