End the Summer Holidays With a Splash

Beat the summer heat and cool off with a movie by the pool!

Caboolture Swimming Pool will be transformed into a starlight cinema as Moreton Bay Regional Council hosts a poolside screening of family-favourite Despicable Me 3 on Saturday 20 January 2018.

Councillor for Division 3 Adam Hain said local families could come along to the event to mark the end of the summer school holidays with a splash.

“We’ll be providing pre-movie entertainment from 5.30pm including competitions and activities, before Despicable Me 3 kicks off at 7pm,” Cr Hain said.

“The entry cost is just a gold coin, so bring your towel and your favourite inflatable and enjoy the film.”

There will also be a fundraising sausage sizzle available for purchase with proceeds going to the Rotary Club of Caboolture.

Despicable Me 3 follows everyone’s favourite reformed super-villain Gru as he returns for more adventures with the lovably zany Minions.

Rated PG, the film is packed full of hilarious and wholesome entertainment fit for the whole family.
