Creative workshop with artist Tamika Grant-Iramu
Next date: Wednesday, 14 January 2026 | 10:00 AM
to 11:30 AM
Tamika is being commissioned to create new artwork for City of Moreton Bay’s Outdoor Gallery at North Lakes Library.
In this workshop, you’ll collect flora from your favourite local spaces and share the stories behind them.
You’ll then take part in a collaborative experience exploring the environment around you. This will be through techniques such as rubbing (frottage) and relief-printmaking.
During the workshop, you’ll learn fundamental methods for creating textures. You’ll use this new skill to transfer imagery and create personal works you can take home.
This is an opportunity to inspire your creativity and foster connection.
