City of Moreton Bay has taken immediate steps in response to the national recall of certain coloured sand products. Designated Council waste facilities are managing the disposal of the recalled sand products.

Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
This policy outlines City of Moreton Bay's commitment to maintaining an efficient and effective internal audit function in accordance with s105 of the Local Government Act 2009 and s207 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.
