City of Moreton Bay has taken immediate steps in response to the national recall of certain coloured sand products. Designated Council waste facilities are managing the disposal of the recalled sand products.

Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
While every care has been taken to ensure these fees are accurate, customers are encouraged to contact Council if requiring confirmation of specific amounts or purposes.
Some fees and charges are GST free, exempt or excluded under the GST legislation. Where GST is applicable, this is stated within the fee.
