Free photography sessions for creative practitioners

Are you a creative practitioner in Moreton Bay? We're inviting musicians, performers, visual artists, and more to book a free professional photoshoot for you or your group!

Your images will be taken by experienced, local photographer, River Petein of River Images. 

Images are for headshots and promotional purposes. Product photography, for example, pictures of artworks, extensive sets/props, is not catered for.

Shoots will have a quick turnaround, with the aim of providing a minimum of 5 high-quality images to you soon after.

Images will be taken in front of a plain backdrop. This will allow you to edit images or add other elements like backgrounds, colours, or text.

Submit an expression of interest

As there are limited time slots available, you will need to submit an expression of interest providing a few words about your act and confirming:

• you or at least one person in the group is a resident of City of Moreton Bay
• your preferred date
• what kind of creative practitioner you are, for example, a dancer, painter, or musician, et cetera 
• how many people will be in the photoshoot.

Expressions of interest close at midnight on 3 November 2025. Submissions will be reviewed, and you will be notified if you have been allocated a spot. Offers will be made by 7 November.
