Community nurseries
Moreton Bay’s community nurseries grow local flora for planting in reserves, parks, schools, and public spaces. They are open to the public, with a range of native plants for sale.
Apply for a free native plant voucher
Council provides one free native plant voucher to residential property owners each financial year. You can use your voucher to get one of the following:
- four tube stock pot plants
- two plants in medium-sized pots
- one plant in a large pot.
Pot sizes and the types of plants available will vary at each nursery. Nursery staff can help you with your selection when you redeem your voucher.
To apply for your free native plant voucher, lodge a request or contact Council.
Community and environment groups, schools and childcare centres can also apply.

Bribie Island Community Nursery

Pine Rivers Community Nursery at Kumbartcho Sanctuary
Located at 15 Bunya Pine Court, Eatons Hill. View map.
- Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Redcliffe Botanic Gardens Community Nursery
