Organisation Development Fund

The Organisation Development Fund supports the development of strong and well-resourced community organisations through the provision of funding for small equipment purchases and governance and business planning activities.

Eligibility

Organisations applying for funding under the Organisation Development Fund must:

  • Be based in the Moreton Bay region

Funding categories

Small Equipment

The small equipment category provides funding towards the purchase of small equipment that is integral to the operations and sustainability of the organisation, or relates to the delivery of a specific program.

Governance and Business Planning

The Governance and Business Planning category provides funding to undertake various capacity building initiatives that strengthen the resilience of sustainability of community organisations based in the Moreton Bay region. Projects may include but are not limited to; governance training and support, business planning and strong development.

Community grant workshop sessions

Community Grants Workshops will be held throughout the region to promote the opening of the new grant round and to provide information to prospective applicants.

Recipient: 212 Squadron, Australian Air Force Cadets
Project: Snare Drums
Grant funding: $2,000

The 212 Squadron, Australia Air Force Cadets were successful in applying for $2,000 in the 2015/16 Round 2 to purchase new snare drums for the Drum Corps which are used to keep timing during weekly parades and ceremonial activities.

Recipient: Caboolture Apex Kindergarten and Pre-school
Project: Governance and future
Grant funding: $5,000

Caboolture Apex Kindergarten and Pre-school Association received $5,000 in the 2015/16 Round 2 to assist with a one, three and five year organisation plan to aid future planning and governance for future volunteer committee members.
