The Upper Caboolture Farmers Assembly Hall is a rustic country hall which dates back to 1800s. The hall backs onto the Carseldine Family Reserve, a peaceful bushland setting.

The hall features a main hall as well as a supper room, making it ideal for events or country themed weddings. All areas are hired together.

The hall is 8.5 metres x 14.5 metres with a 2.5 metre x 6 metre stage and the supper room is 5 metres x 10 metres.

The venue is a self-service model: all hirers are responsible for set-up/pack-down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of the hire.

Capacity

  • The main hall has a capacity of 100 people. 
  • The supper room has a capacity of 40 people.

Accessibility

The Upper Caboolture Farmers' Assembly Hall has ramp access from the main car park and a designated accessible parking bay.

Fees and charges

Hourly and daily rates are available with discounts for not-for-profit organisations and regular hirers.

Casual rates $18.50 per hour and $127.50 per day, $16.00 per hour not-for-profit.

Some events and high-risk activities, i.e. parties where alcohol is served, will require payment of a refundable bond. In some instances, security may also be required as a condition of the booking and will be determined by hall management.

Restrictions

  • Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight.
  • Equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day, or by arrangement with Hall Management.
  • Smoking is not permitted in, or within 5 metres of, Council venues, except for designated smoking areas.
  • The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machine is prohibited.
  • Decorative items such as glitter, rice, rose petals, sand or confetti is not permitted.
  • Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks.
  • Animals with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without Council approval.

Venue Inspections

Hall Management provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking. Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon the availability of the venue.
