Richard Road Park

Are you looking for a local park that’s fun for the whole family, including the dog? Visit Richard Road Park in Mango Hill for an exciting day out next to Capestone Lake.

For children, the kids’ playground has plenty for them to choose from. They can climb the embankment wall before playing in the sandpit above. There’s a rope tunnel they can crawl through and explore before gliding down the embankment slide!

There’s a flying fox set for children to soar through the air, and nearby, there’s a swing set for friends to play on together.

For the fitness-focused, use the outdoor gym equipment or go for a jog alongside Capestone Lake to get your sweat on.

When you’re hungry, warm the electric barbecues and prepare a hot lunch. The sheltered picnic tables are the perfect spot to eat with views over the water.

There’s also an enclosed dog off-leash area for your pup. There are separate areas for small and large dogs, and both dog parks have sheltered seating and water fountains available. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the park and at least 10 metres away from the playground.
