Work or construction zone parking permit

Step 1.Gather supporting documents

You will need to provide a:

• supporting letter from the authorised building or construction works company, detailing the nature of the building or construction works and why it is not practical for all vehicle related activities be confined within the work site
• map of the part of the road or area that shows the location for the permit
• copy of the approval or application for approval required for the works (for example a building works approval).

Step 2.Review the conditions

Make sure you review and understand the permit conditions(PDF, 323KB) before submitting your application.

• Permits are valid for a maximum of 14 days.
• Permits are not renewable or transferable.
• Council reserves the right to limit the number of approvals issued.

Step 3.Review fee and charges

In accordance with Council's fees and charges, an application fee of T967 is payable at the time of application.

Step 4.Sign in to your Online Services account

If you do not have an Online Services account, visit Online Services to find out how to register.

Step 5.Go to 'Enquiries'

Once signed into Online Services, select 'Enquiries'.

Step 6.Select enquiry type

Find the enquiry type 'Permits and Licences - Parking Permits' and select 'Start'

Step 7.Lodging the enquiry

In the field 'I want to apply for a', select 'Work zone permit' from the list.

Then select 'New Permit' or 'Replacement Permit'
