Cancel a parking permit

Advise Council if you no longer require your parking permit due to either:

  • no longer being the owner/occupier of the property nominated on the permit
  • no longer being the registered owner of the vehicle nominated on the permit.

To cancel any type of permit, submit an application for the cancellation of an existing parking permit online.

How to apply

Step 1.Sign in to your Online Services account

If you do not have a Online services account, visit Online Services to find out how to register.

Step 2.Go to 'Enquiries'

Once signed into Online Services, select 'Enquiries'.

Step 3.Select enquiry type

Find the enquiry type 'Permits and Licences - Parking Permits' and select 'Start'

Step 4.Lodging the enquiry

In the field 'I want to apply for a', select 'Cancellation of an existing parking permit' from the list.
