Harmony Day is held each year on 21 March to celebrate our cultural diversity and promote participation, inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Australia is a vibrant and multicultural country, from the oldest continuous culture of our first Australians to the cultures of our newest arrivals from around the world. One in every four residents in the Moreton Bay Region are born overseas, representing more than 180 nationalities and speaking more than 150 different languages.
Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are. It makes the Moreton Bay Region a great place to live.
