Bribie Island Nature Festival returns in 2025 for a weekend of immersion in nature, culture and arts. Explore Bribie Island's unique environment and rich cultural heritage on the Tree Trail: Yarun's Woodland Heritage and take the time to appreciate the giant sentinels of time waiting for their stories to be told. The festival will include art workshops, unique concerts, science talks and outdoor walks - from exploration of the night sky to a gentle stroll through the wildflowers of our wallum heathland. We celebrate our most renowned artist Ian Fairweather, in an art workshop on the site of his former home, and in an evocative classical concert exploring his life through original music. The opening night event, A Conversation of Hope, explores the bold idea of re-introducing the coastal emus back to Bribie Island, with a panel of experts and passionate island residents.
Events and activities are happening across the island for the festival weekend.
