Seniors Week will be held 19-27 August and provides an opportunity to value older people in our communities through celebrating the contribution and commitment they make to the Moreton Bay region.

Who can apply?
- An incorporated not-for-profit organisation or a company
limited by guarantee that has been endorsed by the Australian
Taxation Office as a charity, tax exempt fund or deductible gift
recipient. Unincorporated groups are eligible to apply,
providing that their application is made through an eligible
organisation acting as an auspice
- Must have $20 million Public Liability Insurance
- Must have acquitted all previous Moreton Bay Regional Council
- Must have no outstanding debt to Council
Who is ineligible to apply?
- Government agencies
- Schools, unless the proposed initiative will involve the wider
- Churches, unless the proposed initiative can be considered to
be in addition to the core business of the church
- Political groups

Seniors Week Fund Outcome Reports
Successful applicants are required to return an outcome report
to Council within six (6) weeks of project completion.
The Outcome Report requires you to demonstrate you have spent
the funds as detailed in your original grant application. Please
provide documentation such as photographs and participant
Council reserves the right to request tax invoices and receipts
as per the Funding Agreement in the Fund Guidelines (PDF).

The Moreton Bay region celebrated Seniors Week in style, with
well attended community Expo's at Strathpine and Bribie Island,
along with celebrations at Caboolture Historical Village drawing
