    Council has poles erected for not-for-profit community associations using their own banners to advertise events at no cost.

  • Facility management & development

    Organisations that wish to make improvements to Council owned or controlled land are required to obtain consent prior to undertaking the works.

  • Community leasing

    The Moreton Bay Regional Council has a wide range of facilities which are made available for not-for-profit community and sporting organisations to occupy through lease or licence agreements.

    A variety of child care options are available in the Moreton Bay region.

  • Community gardens

    The Community Garden Guide has been written to assist community groups to complete the necessary investigations and planning required for the establishment and management of a successful and sustainable community garden.

    Local Community Insurance Services is a specialist insurance provider established in consultation with Local Government Australia wide to manage insurance needs of clubs, associations and community groups within Australia.

    Council facilitates and supports a number of key community networking opportunities attended by government agencies and community service providers.

    Connected Communities program is designed for residents who are passionate and motivated about their community.

    Council offers disability funding opportunities and services in addition to the roll out of the Federal Government's National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

    Council acknowledges and values the unique contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make to the Moreton Bay Region.

    Council provides a limited photocopying service for approved community groups.

  • Radio

    Community radio stations in the region include Caboolture’s Community FM Radio Station (101.5FM) and Redcliffe’s Community FM Radio Station (99.7FM).

  • Road & safety equipment

    Council is able to assist non-profit community groups who may require road safety equipment for events.

  • Road verge planting

    These guidelines have been developed to inform residents of their obligations and the conditions associated with undertaking plantings within the road verge, on Council controlled roads.

    Council has five large marquees (approx 54m2) that are available for use by community groups and non-profit organisations.

    It is compulsory for Australian citizens who are 18 years of age and older to be correctly enrolled at their current address.
