Oil - motor

Motor, sump, gear and other engine oils will pollute soil and water if disposed in the environment: on lawns, gardens, into stormwater drains and waterways.

Oil must be brought to a participating Council waste facility for a contractor to collect and reprocess for reuse.

Notes and conditions

• Domestic disposal is limited to 20 litres total of chemicals, paint and oil per visit.
• Petrol, diesel, marine fuels and other liquid fuel not accepted.
