MBRC Online Services

Council has transitioned to a new system for online services, applications and payments. This system replaces Council's previous eServices system.

Registered users

You will be required to sign in to your account to access most services including to lodge applications, request property searches or building/plumbing plans, check your rates balance, or update your details with Council.

Guest users

You are able to access some services without registration, including creating a customer service request, tracking your applications and requests, updating details, and making payments.

Online registration - verification email not being delivered
If you have not received your online verification email within one business hour please try signing directly into your account.

There are two steps required to register for MBRC Online Services. Note: eServices accounts have not been brought across to the new system.


Step 1.Sign in to My Moreton Bay

Follow the link to MBRC Online Services, which will ask you to first sign into My Moreton Bay.

If you have previously registered for MoretonAlert or subscribed to a Council newsletter, you may already have a My Moreton Bay account.

Existing My Moreton Bay users

  • Sign in with your email address and password. Alternatively, if you signed up using a social account, select one of the buttons to sign in using your Google or Facebook account.

New My Moreton Bay users

  • Open the “Sign up” link.
  • Either sign up using your email address:
    • Enter your email address (all lowercase).
    • Select a password (must be at least 8 characters, including a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a number).
    • Press the “Sign up” button.
    • You will be sent an email verification - this may take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Check your junk folder if it isn’t delivered.
    • Open the link in the email to verify your account. This link remains valid for 24 hours.
  • Or use the buttons to sign up using a social account:
    • Select either the Google or Facebook button.
    • Log in to your social account (if required).
    • If prompted, give My Moreton Bay permission to use your account for sign in. Note this does not provide Council any access to your account.

Step 2.Register for MBRC Online Services

Once you have signed into My Moreton Bay, you then need to register for MBRC Online Services. Depending on the steps above you may be taken to the registration step automatically. If not, visit MBRC Online Services and sign in with your My Moreton Bay account.

  • Complete the registration for MBRC Online Services to allow any existing relationships with Council to be attached to your account. Note: You will need to include a street address to be able to lodge applications.
  • You will be sent an email verification - this may take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Check your junk folder if it isn’t delivered.
  • Click the link in the email to verify your account.
  • You will be sent an email when your registration has been completed. This may take up to 15 minutes.

You will now be able to sign in and access a range of services.
