QMusic Industry Connect is coming to Moreton Bay, bringing the local music community together with industry professionals to help you elevate your music game.

This free event offers hands-on advice from the basics of music business and contracts to crafting a brand and building an audience, to booking gigs that get you on the road.

Through roundtables, panels, and a special session on creative resilience, you’ll hear from industry pros including lawyers, label reps, and live music bookers, plus take part in conversations tailored for artists, producers, and managers at all stages.

The night concludes with a live showcase of local talent and an opportunity to chat over drinks. Whether you're just starting or shifting gears, it’s a low-pressure space to learn, ask questions, and find your next step.

Expression of interest (EOI) for live showcase

City of Moreton Bay and QMusic are seeking EOIs from local musicians to perform at the live music showcase as part of Industry Connect with QMusic.

To be eligible, you or your group must be a resident of City of Moreton Bay and must:

• supply your instruments, such as an acoustic or electric guitar
• only perform original music
• perform for a 20-minute set
• have a minimal stage set-up.

Important dates:

• EOIs close Tuesday, 30 September 2025.
• Successful applicants will be informed by Friday, 10 October 2025.
