MBRC Online Services

Registered users

You will be required to sign in to your account to access most services including to lodge applications, request property searches or building/plumbing plans, check your rates balance, or update your details with Council.

You are able to access some services without registration, including creating a customer service request, tracking your applications and requests, updating details, and making payments.

Register

Step 1.Sign in to My Moreton Bay

If you have previously registered for MoretonAlert or subscribed to a Council newsletter, you may already have a My Moreton Bay account.

Existing My Moreton Bay users

  • Sign in with your email address and password. Alternatively, if you signed up using a social account, select one of the buttons to sign in using your Google or Facebook account.

New My Moreton Bay users

Follow the link to MBRC Online Services, which will ask you to first sign into My Moreton Bay. 

  • Open the “Sign up” link, located under "Sign in" 
  • Sign up using your email address:
    • Enter your email address (all lowercase)
    • Select a password (must be at least 8 characters, including a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a number)
    • Press the “Sign up” button
    • You will be sent an email verification - this may take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Check your junk folder if it is not delivered
    • Open the link in the email to verify your account. This link remains valid for 24 hours.
  • Alternatively, you can sign up using your Google or Facebook account
    • You will be sent an email verification - this may take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Check your junk folder if it is not delivered
    • Open the link in the email to verify your account. This link remains valid for 24 hours
    • If prompted, give My Moreton Bay permission to use your account to sign in. Note this does not provide Council access to your Google or Facebook account.

Step 2.Register for MBRC Online Services

Once you are signed into your My Moreton Bay account, you then need to add a MBRC Online Services account.

  • Under “My Services” select “Add Services” and then choose “MBRC Online Services”
  • Complete the registration form. Once submitted you will be sent an email verification - this may take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Check your junk folder if this is not received
  • Click the link in the email to verify your account.

You will now be able to use MBRC Online Services.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your registered animals or property details to display.    

Step 3.Update Communication Methods

To access a range of Council services such as application lodgements, you must have a phone number and postal address nominated in your MBRC Online Services profile.

  • Select “My Details”, then go to “Communication Methods”
  • Check there is a phone number and postal address nominated
  • If not, add missing details by selecting “+Add Communication Method” and choose from the dropdown list.
