Dances Road Sports Ground

Dances Road Sports Ground is a sport and recreation facility that is home to an array of community organisations. These organisations hold a Council lease and sports field permits for facilities on-site. For bookings and event enquiries, refer to Events in public spaces.

The sports ground is a vibrant hub for the local softball and tee ball community, featuring 5 dedicated fields. It accommodates competitive matches and practice sessions, with batting facilities available for hire. These facilities offer 2 full-sized batting lanes with manual pitching machines and 4 open batting cages. It has solar-powered fans and security cameras for comfort and safety. The sports ground helps build community connections through casual sport and plays a vital role in developing young sporting talent.

Beyond the sports fields, a shaded playground features a range of fun play equipment, including a slide, swing set, and flying fox, providing a great spot for children to play during games.
